Quality Control

In order to make sure every translation project is accomplished with high quality and high speed, we have established a unique Quality Control Process after many years' practice.

Accepting commission: Confirm the specific requirements and submission date with the client when accepting the client's commission. In order to accomplish the client's translation accurately, we may ask the client to provide us with some material regarding the idioms or special expressions contained in the text, as well as the background information on the original translation.

Translating: Before starting the formal translation, the translators first read the translation manuscript searching for the technical terms and the meaning of obscure terms. They then communicate or confirm with clients the exact meaning of the term intended and start the translation. When they come across difficult translation problems, they can communicate with clients in real-time and get immediate answers to their translation questions.

Proofreading: Each document is proofread twice to ensure the translation is correct. The first proofreading mainly focuses on checking professional vocabulary and grammar; the second proofreading is undertaken by experts from the relevant professional field to carefully review the technical requirements of translation. During all the proofreading steps, the translators and proofreaders communicate with each other in order to make sure the professional vocabulary is accurate and the language expression is natural.

Submitting the finished translation: After proofreading twice, finished translation is sent to the client on the designated date, and according to client's instruction.

Compiling the terms and terminologies: According to the client's requirements, compile the terms and terminologies dictionary and forward it to the client according to the document's manuscript as well as its translation.
